I was meandering through my music collection along 138 bpm row, and these babies wiggled their bass lines at me - I have been accused of many things in my time, but a anthemic whore is not one of them ;) This is the music that gets me dancing, throwing shapes, and generally making me want to stay up till the middle of the next day high on the bass line. Fri, 25 July 2008 Hi guys, Well it's come around so quickly, and firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has listened to the show in the last 12 months. At the last count O Red has a monthly download rate of over 4000, which is absolutely fantastic. I must give a big thanks to everyone who downloads this through RSS, I-Tunes, and the forums on a regular basis. All the feed back I have got it gratefully received, and if you have any comments about the show please leave a comment. I must admit that there have been times when the podcast has had to take a back seat, and other times when I wish I could have made it bigger, but overall the state of the nation is a good one for me. One thing that I am glad of is the expansion of genres within the show. I now have a repertoire of chill, house, breaks, old skool, trance, and psy, and over the next year I may add another genre into the mix. This week's mix is a four hour special blending all the genres which I have used in the last year, and contains many of my favourite chill, dance, and old skool tunes. It is eclectic, broad, and has something for everyone. Fri, 4 January 2008 Hi guys, Welcome to week 55 of O Red - and quite frankly all I can say is that normal service is here by resumed (yay). After 6 weeks of frustration with libsyn I am now able to get the show back on the road, and here on out hopefully there will be a show every Friday on the dot. My major gold stars for NYE 08 go to the top Brazilian DJ's who rocked the Marquee at Egg for 6 hours.
