Hi guys, and welcome to week 33 of O Red.

This entry is a little late due to my birthday over the weekend, so I hope you have plenty of time to enjoy it, hehe.

I have decided to scrap the Orizan Scholarship contest, and replace it with a new mix contest for any DJ.

The prizes:
1 Year subscription to Libsyn
1 Year plug on the O Red homepage
1 airing of your winning mix on the O Red birthday show in July 2007
1 pair of tickets to a new years eve event of your choice (paid for online, and upto the value of $40)

The rules are simple:
1) Create a mix based around the theme of One. Take this as an open invite to be creative and mix any genre, style, and sound.
2) Closing date 30 June 2007
3) 1 entry per person
4) All entries must be submitted by a link to a valid online file which has been submitted after 24.04.07. Either post the link through a comment on the O Red homepage, Orizan forum, or email Rachel
5) Any genre is allowed, but please bear in mind the flow of the O Red podcast when putting the mix together.
6) It should be no more than 60minutes in length.

hope you've all had a great week, and Easter weekend was good for you. I have have a good few days at work, and hopefully this weekend will go well with my dad up staying with us.

This week's mix is something slightly harder than recent ones. I wanted to get back in touch with my trance roots, and hopefully you'll all enjoy it as much as I do. Welcome to week 31 of O Red, and happy Easter to one & all. Thanks to everyone who has downloaded the mixes over the last few months. It is really good to know that you are all enjoying the show, and if you do have any feedback please drop me a line.


I have also got a new pics page - http://www.flickr.com/photos/rejs7/ - which has all my none stock or art pics on it. I went to Ltd Addiction last night, and I have posted a few pics which I took there on this page.It was a great night as per usual, and all the DJ's deserve gold stars.

I've had a great couple of weeks, and now that I am permanent at work I can put my creative energies into making the show better than ever.This week's mix is based on tracks which have 129bpm at their core, and covers everything from Van Gelis to Rob Dugan.
